Virginia Writes

With the Indie Author Project, provided by the Library of Virginia, anyone in Virginia can share their writing through the Indie Virgina collection. If you are just getting started, you can use Pressbooks Plus to create your eBook and then upload it to Indie Virginia. For authors who already have their eBook created, you can simply submit it to Indie Virginia.

Readers can also browse a collection of great self-published content from authors across the Commonwealth either with the BiblioBoard website or using the BiblioBoard app for iOS or Android devices. Find more information and get started at Virginia Writes.

You can use your web browser or get a free hoopla app for your smartphone or tablet computer.

Just go to https://www.hoopladigital.com/ and click the “get started” button to create your own account using your Richmond County Public Library card barcode number when asked for it.
