Summer Reading Program 2020

VIRTUAL SUMMER READING PROGRAM 2020

Our 2020 Summer Reading Program is offered to children ages 5 and older and will look different than previous years due to COVID-19 and social distancing to protect everyone’s health.In addition to our weekly online entertainers, we will offer prizes to each child who reads 100 minutes or more each week.

Our online kickoff event will be on June 27th and our last week will end on August 9th

You may sign up online now, but our weekly entertainers and weekly reading prizes will not begin until June 27th.

Summer Reading minutes tracked for each week may be emailed to Ms. Ruth by Monday at 9:00PM to rlynn@rappahannock.edu

Weekly prizes will be mailed out on Tuesdays. They will be as follows…

Week 1 (June 29-July 5)– Michelle’s Sweet Treat Bakery $5 gift coupon

Week 2 (July 6-12)– Glow in the Dark Yo Yo

Week 3 (July 13-19)—Northern Neck Popcorn Bag $5  gift coupon

Week 4 (July 20-26)– Glow in the Dark Frisbee

Week 5– (July 27-Aug 2) Bubba’s B Ice Cream Creamery $5 gift coupon

Week 6 (Aug 3– 9)– Scholastic Book ( Based  on Age Groups)
